On June 10^th 2024, CAFRAD, represented by its Director-General, accompanied by Ms. Eddaaliti Hasnaa, his assistant, as well as Ms. Bouziani Basma, in charge of International Relations and Cooperation, took part in a preparatory consultation meeting for the World Governance Summit that is slated to take place in Dubai in February 2025. During the discussions, the adoption of the theme of the Forum, its different variations as well as the determination of targets were discussed in particular. There were also discussions about organizing regional roundtables or panels, with each participating organization being responsible for the coordination and arrangement for an international Mayors’ meeting.

On these different themes, the parties present at the discussions worked in a climate of frank collaboration and agreed to meet again soon to harmonize their points of view for the success of the upcoming World Governance Forum.
